DC Universe Online biography

Dev Em of Krypton is one of several other-dimensional villains that were captured by Brainiac during the his numerous trips through time and the Multiverse. Brainiac had traveled the Multiverse in search of unique heroes and villains from many worlds including alternate Earths to use as an army. Dev Em was being used as a template for many of the new exobyte-enhanced humans until he was able to escape from a Brainiac ship with help from this Earth's Calculator and Lex Luthor. Upon escaping captivity, he discovered that he was on an alternate Earth and timeline from the one he had known. Lex Luthor offered Dev Em his aid and sponsored him as an honorary Secret Society member seeking out his aid in a series of crimes. Adjusting to his new life in this new time and this new Earth, Dev Em has joined a new team of villains known as Young Villainy which features several of the exobyte-enhanced and other trans-dimensional vilains that Brainiac had kidnapped.

Dev Em's current whereabouts are in Central City stopping the Reapers from destroying the timeline, but often works with his teammates and other villains in Metropolis and Gotham City.

Origin/History: Dev-Em is a Kryptonian juvenile delinquent who took Jor-El's warnings of Krypton's impending doom seriously enough to place himself in suspended animation in an orbiting space capsule. When the planet Krypton exploded, Dev-Em's ship was blasted into space, where it eventually landed on Earth. Dev-Em imprisons Superboy in the Phantom Zone and assumes his identity in an effort to destroy the Boy of Steel's reputation. Eventually he frees Superboy and departs from the twentieth century, traveling through time to finally settle on the more advanced Earth of the 30th century.
