Kryptonite Kid of Blor is one of several other-dimensional villains that were captured by Brainiac during the his numerous trips through time and the Multiverse. Brainiac had traveled the Multiverse in search of unique heroes and villains from many worlds including alternate Earths to use as an army. Kryptonite Kid was being used as a template for many of the new exobyte-enhanced humans until he was able to escape from a Brainiac ship with help from this Earth's Calculator and Lex Luthor. Upon escaping captivity, he discovered that he was on an alternate Earth and timeline from the one he had known. Lex Luthor offered Kryptonite Kid his aid and sponsored him as an honorary Secret Society member seeking out his aid in a series of crimes. Adjusting to his new life in this new time and this new Earth, Kryptonite Kid has joined a new team of villains known as Young Villainy which features several of the exobyte-enhanced and other trans-dimensional vilains that Brainiac had kidnapped.
Kryptonite Kid's current whereabouts are in Central City stopping the Reapers from destroying the timeline, but often works with his teammates and other villains in Metropolis and Gotham City.

Powers: By way of physical contact, the Kryptonite Kid can transform solid matter into Kryptonite. Prior to gaining his Kryptonite powers, the Kid was also telepathic.

Origin/History: Kryptonite Kid started out as a prisoner on the planet Blor. He volunteers for a space mission with the test dog because he can get a shortened sentence when he comes back. Before he returns, the spaceship passes through a Kryptonite cloud and then, because he knows that Superboy lives there, he pilots the spaceship to earth. Exposure to Kryptonite has given him the ability to turn anything he wishes into that element, plus he has some natural telepathic abilities. He bedevils Superboy through several stories, both by himself and allied with Dev-Em, but is always unfortunately foiled by the boy of steel.
